Description:
The magnetic switch pushes the freewheel unit into the starter ring gear of the flywheel via a bell crank.
If the solenoid switch stops working or hangs, the starter runs empty at startup and does not engage the engine or the starter pinion runs permanently after startup. This can result in a defective starter motor. It is therefore recommended to replace the magnetic switch at the first sign.
